Summer Call Volume Has ArrivedSun, Jun 12 2011

With the summer months upon us and the increase in activities in the Prince William County, higher call volumes for EMS units are not uncommon. While also supporting fire department calls and other local community events; D-TRS members are in the center of it all.

The ambulance personnel from Station 23 found themselves unusually busy this weekend. This was partly due to the unusual weather. On Saturday, June 11th, Ambulance 523 ran 16 dispatched calls and added on to a few others in a 24 hour period. Sunday’s crew was also busy and the pace seems to be continuing.

Members are always excited to serve and assist the community in their times of need. Volunteering is an exceptional way to give back to your community and to gain valuable life experiences along the way.

Won’t you join us?
